The brief was to identify and evaluate all the potential financial, operational, legal and reputational risks to which the investor might be exposed if a deal with the technology company were to be concluded. Solution: Pasco conducted a confidential, multi-jurisdictional due diligence for the investor. This included the collection and evaluation of time-sensitive information as well as an analysis of subtle, deal-breaking risk factors that the investor might face. The investigation also provided vertical and horizontal behavioural profiles of key executives in the targeted technology company. Result: Pasco then prepared an assessment report that included critical analysis and advisory recommendations covering more than five jurisdictions. This confidential report was presented to executives of the client within two weeks of Pasco having been engaged. |
